Atypical Depression - What is atypical depression?

Atypical depression is basically a type of depression, which is characterized by more severe symptoms that can be debilitating. With symptoms like rapid weight gain, anxiety and excessive sleep, Atypical depression patients often feel better for a short time when they are in a positive state of mind,  but there are some common conditions like excessive sleep, heaviness of limbs, overeating and sensitivity to emotional issues like rejection.
